Overview

Project Tesserae was a multi-university research project that involved researchers from the University of Notre Dame, University of California-Irvine, Georgia Tech, Dartmouth, Carnegie Mellon University, University of Colorado-Boulder, University of Washington, University of Texas-Austin, and Ohio State University that studied how we can sense and better understand workplace performance in the modern, digital age. The project gathered data from over 750 participants in information-related jobs acquiring nearly a year of data from wearables, smartphone agents, beacons, and social media.

While the study has concluded, researchers may request access to the data provided that the researchers agree to follow the Data Usage Agreement (DUA) and submit a brief proposal describing the proposed work. A more complete set of details can be found in the Data Sharing menu item to the left.
